Child Abuse

February 11, 2010

A 14 year old girl was locked in a bathroom for 2 month by her father.

Phoenix police helped the girl who managed to escape from the attic. The girl ran away looking for food and help when she called the police.

The father locked the girl for stealing food from the kitchen and cheating on a home-test from school. She was given canned food once every couple of days. Claiming that her father would force her to exercise till exhaustion or he would beat her up with a belt or metal rods.

She also told the police that she was forced to sleep on an outdoor patio for 5 month by her father and step mother. The girl was the only one from the family with signs of abuse, having 1 brother and 3 step sisters.

Police have aressted both parents for child abuse and kidnapping. These people should undergo sever punishment for their actions.

Thankfully the girl is healthy and not severly harmed, policemen said that no one should be treated this way.

How can a person do such a thing to someone of his own flesh and blood?

American Football in L.A ?

February 10, 2010

It has been 15 years since the raiders and the rams left los angeles dry without a football team. There was never success in the case, many tried but never accomplished until now, Billionaire Ed Roski on the other hand has something to say about that.

Ed Roski is planning to buy one of the NFL teams and bring it back to the city of angels, thinking about building a s huge stadium near the 57 and 60 freeway’s, although it is not likely to happen this season, the billionaire predicts it will happen in 2011.

Reporters have tried to narrow the teams down trying to have a small clue about what is going on inside that billionaires head. Non were succesfull in doing so.

Los angeles is a city reputable for its athletics, you have the Lakers reigning NBA champions, the Dodgers MLB and LA Galaxy the MLS teams. American football being the most popular sport in the States, Los Angeles as a city should feel obligated to have a team, giving the community joy and a new thing to support and love.

What’s up Doc ?

February 9, 2010

Conrad Murray, pop legend Michael Jackson’s doctor was charged guilty for involuntary manslaughter in Los Angeles. The doctor pleaded not guilty and was released on a $75,000 bail were he is due to show up before the court on April 5th.

Jun 25th, 2009 was a very sad day for the world, a king passed away. Pop king Michael Joseph Jackson was found dead in his estate in Los Angeles California. Dr. Murray was appointed by Mr. Jackson on a $150,000 monthly pay.

The case goes around the use of Propofol, which was used to aid Michael Jackson to sleep. Propofol is a very strong drug, all doctors treat their patients with intensive care after using this drug.

Dr. Murray claims to have left the patients side for only two minutes, where both the Los Angeles Police and The Coroners office have gathered evidence that led to the case today. Empty bottles of Propofol where found in the Doctors medicine bag and on the bed side where Michael was found.

Joe Jackson’s lawyer told the news that members of the family were not happy with the charges, showing disappointment that the Doctor was only charged for involuntary manslaughter.

Hooligans in Scotland

February 4, 2010

U.S Soccer player Damarcus Beasley’s who is currently playing with the Glasgow Rangers in Scotland, saw his car bombed in front of house on monday. An unknown witness informed the news about a man placing something (supposedly a gas bomb) under his car and leaving a trace of petrol before using his lighter to blow the car up.

The player is unharmed, he published a post on twitter stating “Someone blew up my car today. Thanks again for ALL the messages and kind words. But, yea, I’m doin’ OK and in the market for a new car. LOL. Gotta try to find some humor.” Dmarcus Beasley.

The past shows that at least four more players had their cars blown up in Glasgow. Security stayed the same after the first four incidents, Recently the club had stronger security towards its players. It is a good thing that no harm was done to the player, but the clubs security should have been stronger after the first incident.

Football hooligans all over the world are always making trouble and vandalizing fans, players and all the people around them with danger. A while ago grenades  where thrown in a stadium in Italy, people were killed and some severely injured.

Ac Milan goal keeper (Dida), was a subject of these actions, a firework was aimed at him from the stands where his shoulder was injured for a period of time.

These people should be punished, they cause danger to these innocent players and fans due to their loyalty as fans to their teams. A solution would be for all the teams to ask there players for respect and safety, and that each team should be penalized for the actions of there so called fans.

Domino’s employee dies after attack

24 year old Kenny Ring was attacked by an armed robber on Friday the 8th of January 2010. Doctors say that the cause of death was a head trauma following the attack.

Domino’s workers are getting nervous about there work due to the latest incident.

Safety should be a main concern for late night workers.

In the modern world we live in, technological methods are becoming available for almost everything in the world we live in today. Why is it that safety measures are not being considered as huge threats for late shift workers until a tragic incident happens.

How many times do you pass situations where you think to yourself about how easy it would be to hurt someone or steal, ruin something that dose not belong to you ?

We see a lot of fast food chains where the cashier is sitting behind bullet proof glass in our everyday lives, so why is it that we still get stories similar to this one. isn’t it the governments responsibility to ensure safety in our everyday lives?
